free circus tix

- I had my virgin visit to a manicure last Saturday. Sad to say, it sucked. RM35 for french manicure, which began chipping that evening itself. The manicurist was so rough! She didn't soak my nails before trimming, she practically sawed my fingernails off with the emery board and she missed many spots with the polish. And so few choices for base colour. Lousy erggggggh. But the place sells pretty cute and quirky clothes. I saw something I love, but was too expensive. Terry cloth tube dress with poufy chiffon skirt. I wanttttttt =(

- Went to m-ifw (previously known as mifa). Very high-so and poshy. And of course, you'd expect weird fashion. I wore my poufy disco dress =] There was free flow and finger food (models don't eat, remember?) and Haagen Daz. Made use of the free flow and left after the catwalk began. The catwalk music was quite good actually. Wanted to go to Alexis after, but found this Korean BBQ restaurant at some weird corner of KL. James being the Korean-freak stopped right in the middle of the road and decided...let's eat Korean. To Victor's horror, they don't serve pork NO POK! How can?! Saw Aya and her colleagues there, small worlddddddd.

- Went to the Penguin Book Warehouse Sale on Sunday with my colleagues. I practically went nuts! So many books. I bought a lot but didn't manage to find "The Devil Wears Prada". Went to Plaza Damas for lunch at Paddington's Pancake House. Had the most gorgeous pancakes EVER! In the whole wide world! I didn't speak the whole lunch cuz I was too busy eating. I had the Full Monty, which was 3 fluffy pieces of pancake with cheese, salami, bacon, sunny side up, mashed potato, guacamole, cherry tomatoes, mini sausages and vege *drools* I wanna go there again! For breakfast! For every RM50 spent on a single receipt, you get a free dessert and we had the Pot of Gold which was mini fluffy dollar pancakes, ice-cream, maple syrup, chocolate sauce, blueberries and sprinkling of nuts. Heavenly.

- Made a second trip to the book sale on Monday after work. Went crazy all over again! I am now in possession of 17 books and close to RM200 poorer. Luckily can claim from income tax. Today was the last day of the sale. Otherwise I would have spent more. =/

- I have 7 free tickets to the Royal London Circus. These tickets are VIP seats (right in front of the ring) and are open dated. You can go any day and time you want, as long as you call up to let them know at least one day ahead. The last show is this Sunday, Nov 25. Whoever wants, leave message or call or sms me. First come first serve basis. Me and Liang probably going on Sunday night. Let me know! Oh yea, it's in Bandar Botanic, Klang. If going together maybe can have Bak Kut Teh =]

*edit*
The circus tix down by 2. So far going: Eva, Liang, Jules, Aya. 3 tix gone to my colleague. Left TWO. Confirm fast otherwise I'll give away.

*edit*
No more tix.

time to breathe

Been. So. Freaking. Tired.

*sigh*

So much work. This la, that la, year-end la, reporting season la, what-nots la. No offense to PR people but they can be SO persistent. That's why they are in that line lar I guess. I can't bloody remember the last time I attended Jazzercise. I can't remember the last time I went jogging. I can't remember the last time I actually bounced out of bed to go to work.

Life right now? Busy. Tired. A bit overwhelmed. But good. =]

Stupid neighbour took my parking spot two nights back. I left a note on his windshield. My dad stuffed a whole bunch of flowerpots at the driver's door. IDIOT.

Happy Diwali to everyone! Did you guys have a good one? I spent mine shopping for DVD's and eating ikan pari in Summit. And had wine and cheese balls and famous amos while watching Mr & Mrs Smith. Yes, my movies are backlogged. I actually made a list of movies I wanted to watch, but barely got past a few...man, I actually wrote that list when I was STILL in Aussie. *tsk tsk*

Finally watched The Devil Wears Prada! With Liangzor and Aya. Daym...all that fashion! Oooh, speaking of fashion, I'm attending the mifa thingie this Saturday night. Wonder what it'll be like. Will definitely snap pictures.

And. This bit is a bit...erm. Can't bring myself to say it. But it has something to do with Vegas Showgirls. Scratch that, it's A LOT to do with Vegas Showgirls. And slinky dresses. And feather boas. And fishnet stockings. *oh mannnnnn*

I need to re-check my glasses and harass my optician for my contact lens order. I think he made my glasses power too high. Things are clearer with my contact lenses. Need to get it fixed before my eyes go like this: @_@

Aus Trip posts have been "tergendala" due to malfunction of Liangzor's computer. Where all the photos are stored. Seriously wonder if we can finish it before the year is out...hmmm....

Am still waiting for Liangzor to send me those photos which he has been hogging in his handphone i.e. Hui Ling's birthday, Aliza's birthday, some makan-makan stuff, etc. etc. Oh ya, supposed to blog about a certain bunny's surprise birthday thang. Must do that soon.

JUSCO had some exclusive J-card members sale thing. 15% off storewide. My mom bought 3 handbags and a pair of shoes in one weekend. She almost bought a fourth handbag. (!!!) Mind you, not cheap ones like the ones Yours Truly frequently buy. She's a nutter. A woman during sale season armed with credit cards = SCARY. Thank God I don't own a credit card. The sale wasn't too bad though, I got myself a new shirt and Liangzor has a brand-spanking-new wallet. About time too, stupid Billabong wallet that I got him last year was falling apart. Lousy.

I received an invite to a Breguet thing, it's some kinda watch thing at Pavilion. I instantly thought of Muskelman cuz of his lurrrrve relationship with watches. Unfortunately the invite is not transferable. Can't even bring friend(s) along, what a waste.

My brother's school had a graduation ceremony for their fifth formers. They made a very nice video, so touching. And I saw Zi-Peng, Hui Ling. Tried to snap photo but it came out blur. So weird to have Form 5 graduation, first time I heard of it.

I need to stop getting emotional over novels that depict two-timing, no-good, lying male bastards. I once read this book and came to a part where the hubby beds another woman. I slammed the book shut and hurled it against the wall. THE FURY. Was a hard lesson to learn but, don't ever be tempted to take back a sneaky sniveling cheater. He can and will cheat again. *shakes fist in mock anger* (No, I don't hate the male population and I'm not a feminist.)

AND! I'm on leave from 17th Dec until New Year's. Me and Liangzor are planning a trip to Penang, during the week before Christmas. Tentative date: depart 15 Dec (Saturday). Was thinking of doing a 4 days 3 nights thing, maybe stop by Ipoh for food on the way back. Might also go to Melaka before coming back to Subang. Anybody up for it? I'm bringing my Star Guide to Street Food so we can BINGE =D Let me know if you're interested.

And oh ya. I'm no longer under probation. Yay for me. *pops champers* =]

Potong stim a bit here. I finally bought the two handphones. Gonna give one to my Dad cuz his ancient phone is dying. Was like WOOHOO! Until I read this:

"Delivery within 4 to 6 weeks"

=/

Oh well.

Possibly spending Christmas in Singapore. =]
*can't wait can't wait!*

A funny friend of mine said:

"Don't eat and shit in the same place;
you're bound to eat your own shit."

Yep. Couldn't agree more.
