Australia Trip Part 4

Before I go on, here's a little update:

> Merdeka nite was cr-a-a-a-a-a-a-zy. Went to The Sanctuary at theCurve. Packed to the max!!! Boyfriend booked two tables for us beforehand, but upon reaching, they gave us only one table. One friggin small table for 9 peeps...adui....standing sumore. Buat hal a bit then they gave us another table. The music not bad la, but we missed the fireworks outside! Couldn't be arsed to squeeze outta that crowd. After the countdown, the DJ played "Tanggal, tiga puluh satu..." and it was damn weird cuz people were bopping to it...clubbing to merdeka song (???) daym. Halfway thru, Lilian and Yan Lun disappeared and never came back. One moment Steve was drinking and the next moment he was standing up on a bar stool. Siao. Then we all got dragged out, Kumar and Liang started puking wahahahha NOOBS. I lost one side of my beloved huge-ass-hoop earrings >=( Nelsen abandoned us to fetch Elaine home *ahem*. Then Jejons sent us home. Next morning went to Busy Corner to eat claypot rice *eat that Gary!* wahahahhaha...

> Last Wednesday went to Neway Karaoke to celebrate Daniel's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIEL! Hui Ling got member discount so it was pretty cheap. The food left a lot to be desired though... next time must remember to not let them charge us for those crazy nuts. Pics and videos can be viewed at Mi-San-San's blog. Go watch the first video...Pravin's talent is pwnage!

> I bought 3 pairs of shoes in one day. How crazy can that be? Found a nice little place called Pieces at Taipan with lovely lovely stuff =) Can't beat my addiction for Amour though hehe...gonna go back there for more dresses...new arrivals! Woot.

> Went to Decanter at Hartamas on Friday. Had the "Buy 5 Free 1" jugs of beer. Drank until damn bloated urghhh. Bumped into Timothy John, Darren Nigel and Jason Yean. Don't think Jason remembers me though, wanted to say hi to him but he disappeared after a while. Was good catching up with Timmy and Darren. Darren's got a hot young chick and Timmy's put on weight haha...found out that Boon Aik and someone else are pilots now. PILOTS wei. So bergaya.

Tai Shi

2 weeks ago, we went to one of our favourite teppanyaki shop. It's located at Subang commercial centre. So far, it's the best teppanyaki shop for us la. Delicious food, big portion with reasonable price. So don't hesitate to go any try it out! You can ask us if you have any trouble going there.

Here's some pictures of the shop and food. Enjoy.

So yau kui. Pfft.

Don't you love good food.

We'll explore PD this weekend and we'll try one of their finest food over there. We'll sure to blog about it. If there's any recommendation, we are glad to hear about it.

Australia Trip Part 3

At the rate we're going, we're only gonna finish the Australia Trips by next year. Anyhoo, click below for the previous Australia posts:

Part 1 Part 2

***

Next up! We went sight-seeing at the famous Mt. Coot-tha lookout point. This is one of Brissy's touristy spot. Took a bus up and from there, you can see the entire Brissy city and its surrounding suburbs.

(Shit, I'm starting to forget the names of the places!)

There is only a bus every hour, so we spent one hour taking in the sights, snapping photos and having ice-cream.

After that we took the bus back down, went to my work place to collect my paycheck ($!) and headed off to the city. Liang's cousin wanted us to get her a dress so we went shopping woohoo.

Tried on lots of dresses, these are from ICE. Daym, I miss this boutique.

After all that dress shopping, I took Liang to Gilhooley's (spellcheck!) Irish pub to get us some beer.

This here, is Kilkenny, one of the more famous brands of Irish beer. It looks like Guiness Stout. You can try it at any Irish pub in Malaysia, I've had some back here at Sri Hartamas...it's ouchies on the pocket though. Wanted to buy Harp (spellcheck again!) for Liang to try, but Gilhooley's stopped importing that brand due to high costs. Damn nice wan ok! Harp is like ale sorta beer. I miss it! Dunno where else to find it :(

Later on in the evening, we went to the South Bank markets. Lots of trinkets to browse through. We had Wicked Bananas and Churros (the thing that Aya was craving sometime back :P)

Wicked Bananas have chocolate injected into the middle. Got different types of chocolate sumore.

See how pwnage the banner is...its the Churros man himself! He looks like some Churros archer or something.

For dinner, we had the ever famous BESTEST PIZZA ever...Slice! at West End aka Hippie Town (where people go barefoot, keep dreadlocks, don't shower for months and get drunk in the morning noon and night). Of course, anyone I bring there has to have the Morrocan Lamb as their first taste. I MISS THIS!

Check out the huge chunks of lamb and the cheesiness...slurp!

And thus ends Part 3. Watch out for Part 4!
