This post was supposed to be about my birthday and all the thank-yous that I owe everyone, but unfortunately, I got into an accident this morning.
I was at the traffic lights between USJ 11 and USJ 5, heading towards USJ 4. As the lights turned green, the cars, including myself, inched forward and a second later there was a huge impact proprelling my car forward, things were flying around in the car and my Kelisa smacked the Kancil in front. Three car pile up. The Kancil dude came out and was all "aper ni?!" with me, and I was like "it's the woman behind me dammit!"
Fortunately, it was all settled amicably. The woman came out and immediately apologised. Apparently, her foot slipped off the brake, causing her car to lurch forward. We were all stationary, and I'm still wondering how on earth she managed to smack me so hard that I flew into the Kancil's backside.
At first, she only wanted to cover my damage, and not the Kancil's. After insisting that it wasn't my fault, and that the Kancil's damage was way less, she settled it with cash on the spot. Then, she only wanted to cover the damage on my back. I insisted that she covered the front too. Her fault mah! But overall, she was a pretty reasonable lady, and when her husband arrived, he agreed to cover all costs for my damages and apologised for it. I'm now waiting for my brother to wake up, to teman me to their mechanic.
The guy in the Kancil was a Malay dude and behind me was the Indian lady. Damn muhibah right? How's that for Merdeka. Aih...
Been planning for her birthday party with Hui Ling like almost 2 weeks. We tried to gather all her close friends along in Facebook. Most of them attended except Mi-san and her chocolate ball. Don't worry, next time yam cha on you both ^^ . There were around 22 people attended. It's damm hard to plan a surprise party okay espcially if it's you gf/bf birthday. Well the party went well la...and I was worried my gang and hers can't blend in but I was proven wrong. Should make more parties together la.
