wahey!

Happy Birthday Oon-Ee. Not sure if you read this place, but your tagboard disappeared! Have a good one and God bless =]

Today I got home to find an envelope addressed to me. The contents felt like postcards. Then I saw the MTV icon at the corner of the envelope. I showed my brother and we yelped together, me opening the envelope and him bouncing over my shoulder.

Then we danced around the kitchen, fanning ourselves with the tickets and laughing at the ceiling. My grandma was highly amused. Her grandkids have finally cracked it. Chee sen *Hakka for crazy*

Hehe.

On Easter Sunday, we had an early birthday celebration for the brother. Nothing big, just a cozy little family affair. He had an awesome durian yoghurt cake from CakeSense.

We then had dinner at a Korean restaurant because my brother wanted to eat Korean BBQ. We tried the shop above the fitness centre at Taipan USJ 10 but it was so crowded and the waiting list was super long. Must be a really good place to eat. Unfortunately, we were too hungry to wait so we went to the other less crowded place called Han Woo Ri. It's on the same block but different floor. You can access the restaurant through a lift near Red Chilli's.

The place is not bad lah. We had pork and beef on the BBQ, kim chi pork and tofu soup (served with rice), bi bim bop (rice, beef, vege, etc etc and egg served in a stone bowl, you have to mix it all together before eating), some fried noodles thingy and bul go gi. We ordered waaaaaaaaaay too much and were stuffed to the max. Sumore Korean meals always have loads of side dishes to accompany.

My favourite dish was the fried noodles. The bul go gi was good, the soup was very sweet and aromatic but we regretted ordering it because we were too full! Kim chi soup was as usual very good because I loooooove kim chi. Slurp!

We had a very late dinner so we were the last customers to leave the restaurant. The service was very good, the waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. I hate waiters/waitresses who do not know what they are doing, much less what's on the menu. Useless. Those are not waiters, those are people who makan gaji buta. -_-

Eh, I digress. Because we were the last ones to leave, they actually escorted us out to the lift. We exited the restaurant with waiters on either sides of us and they actually pressed the lift button for us too! ROFL. We tahan until the lift doors almost closed and burst out laughing.

The following Saturday, my brother threw a BBQ party to celebrate with his friends. I was on my feet the entire day, helping mom prepare the food. Damn kao tired. They liked my nachos and cream cheese pie though ^^. Found a nice brand of Papaya Salsa at Giant, very tasty. The chicken wings and thighs weren't marinated long enough, so it didn't taste that good. Not enough time to absorb the flavours. And my brother's friends are noobs at BBQ. Everything half cooked or burnt. -_-

Some of his friends pooled money and got him a brand spanking new subwoofer set. Eh, I'm not even sure what it's called. The whole woofer + speaker thingy.

Kids these days really have the moolah.

You know you've been spending too much time with kids when you dream that one of them is your son. Bugger.
